YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia recently landed in trouble after his controversial remarks on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, went viral on social media. His comment sparked outrage, leading to complaints being filed against him and the show. The statement has ledt netizens and celebrities divided. While several celebs have reacted to it, in recent times, Boney Kapoor, Aly Goni, Manoj Bajpayee and Imtiaz Ali have also weighed in on the whole Ranveer Allahbadia-Samay Raina controversy.

Speaking about the controversy, Boney Kapoor said, “What he did is something which I don’t endorse at all. There have got to be limitations. There has got to be self-censorship also. Within your home, you talk whatever you want to talk, but on social platforms, you need to be careful and you need to be disciplined.”

TV actor Aly Goni tweeted, “They forced Samay to delete all the episodes of Latent… not cool… that one episode should have been deleted, that’s it. He has worked hard to make this show successful. Where everyone was praising him a few days back, now everyone is against him lol kya yaar.”

When Imtiaz and Manoj were asked about the ongoing controversy surrounding Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks, the filmmaker called Samay and Ranveer ‘immature’. He said, “The fame that comes through shortcuts doesn’t last long. I feel people should do what they enjoy doing, but obscenity is a subject that looks bad, and anyone would agree. However, people are immature, so their mistakes should not be taken too seriously.” Manoj Bajpayee agreed with Imtiaz Ali’s point of view and added, “Isliye jo bhi log safal ho rahe hain, young hain, yuva hain hamesha jo hai mahaul ko zara dekhein aur samjhein” (People who are successful and young should appreciate and understand their environment).”

Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui also reacted to the backlash and said, “Samay. Art jo hai woh spring ki hai, jitnaa dabaoge utnaa upar uthega. My G is going to come out so strong you will see.”

During his appearance on the Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent as a judge on the panel, Ranveer asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?” His remark received immense backlash. The backlash has not only led to criticism but also legal trouble for the YouTuber. While Ranveer issued an apology, Samay has deleted all videos from his channel.
